Chichen Itza is the best-restored site of the Maya Civilization.  It is on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.  According to the BBC of London in 2005, it was, voted among the "The 50 Must See Places in the World”.  On the 7th of July of 2007, it was declared one of the “New 7 Wonders of the World” by millions of persons around the world.

Transportation: This tour includes round trip transportation right from Coral Mar and you will be going in a very confortable air conditioned transportation. The ride is approximately 2 hr and 30 mins from Coral Mar to Chichen Itza. The road is flat and the ride is smooth, without curves or hills.
 
The first scheduled stop is at 2 hours approximately from the time of departure. This will be at Selva Maya, This is beautiful cenote. The stay at Selva Maya will be 1 hour; during this time feel free to swim, take pictures or just admire this beautiful natural formation. After the cenote you will go to the restaurant to enjoy your lunch. If you are going to swim in it, bring your bathing suit and a towel. There are changing rooms at Selva Maya.
 
Lunch will be served around 12:00 P.M. (at cenote Selva Maya) If you think it will be too late for you, you may want to bring munchies. The lunch is an all-you-can eat delicious buffet, included in your ticket.  The restaurant is impeccable. Drinks are not included at any point of the tour and there are no free refills.
 
After lunch you will go to Chichen Itza. Upon your arrival at Chichen Itza you will be assigned an archeological tour guide, who will guide you for two hours; once your guided tour is completed you have the option to explore the site on your own.
 
In the evening and on the way back to Cancun, you will have the opportunity to discover the colonial town of Valladolid. This picturesque village was founded in 1543 by the Spanish conquistador Francisco de Montejo.
